At Resilience Health, we strive to guide you to be your best self. Medication management and psychotherapy are the cornerstones in our practice. We know that everyone faces challenges. Being resilient means looking at those challenges from a more meaningful perspective. The compassion that we have for our patients is evident in the care that we give. Our mission is to empower individuals to live to their fullest potential.
Natalie Drawdy, PMHNP-BC, MSN,
As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner my goal is to provide holistic mental health care to individuals across the life span. My treatment approach is collaborative with the individual and involves consideration of these factors in the development of an evidence-based plan of care which may incorporate traditional medication management, lifestyle modifications, complementary therapies, and referral for psychotherapy.
Andrew Smith, PMHNP-BC, MSN
As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe in a patient-centered, holistic approach to providing mental health care. I approach treatment by viewing each client as a unique individual and not merely their diagnosis; this helps transcend the constraints created by these labels and allows for a treatment plan to be custom tailored to meet the needs of each individual.
Kara Beatty, Psychiatrist, MD
Dr. Beatty is a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in Brain Injury. I practice general psychiatry and specialize in treating patients with TBI or stroke that need psychiatric care. I also provide psychiatric consultation RBHA at the REACH crisis therapeutic home for individuals with ID/DD/autism. In addition to my clinic duties, I sit on the Board of Directors for Community Brain Injury Services (CBIS) and served as president for the Richmond Psychiatric Society for the 2018-2019 year.
I believe that with love and persistence, the human spirit can overcome any obstacle.
