Welcome to the 21st Annual Autism Conference

We are pleased to announce that our annual autism conference is back in person for its 21st year! This year it will be held in Richmond, VA, and the theme of our conference will be “Navigating the Autism Journey”. This event is a great opportunity for students, educators, parents, families, social workers, psychologists, and more to attend and learn from inspirational speakers, make connections, and gain insight into autism. We are excited to bring this event to our community and look forward to seeing you there!

Information for Students and Professionals

CA Partner Discounts

DBHDS staff and CSB staff are eligible for a professional discount off the cost of full-price tickets. Please contact us to get the discount code before registering. Call (804) 355-0300 or email.

Certificates

Every participant will receive a certificate of attendance. Teachers can use this certificate to earn professional development points (PDPs). Please ask your school administrator for specifics on qualifying for PDPs.

Scholarships

We offer conference scholarships for self-advocates, families and caregivers. For more information about scholarships, email us.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

We are certified as a Type 2 Continuing Education provider by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. If you participate in BACB sessions and meet all BACB standards, you can earn up to 8.5 credits at this conference. BACB track sessions will be marked as such, and you must attend the sessions in that track to qualify. If you choose that option, you will need to attend each session in its entirety.

CA Human Services invites submissions of proposals to present at the 2022 CA Annual Autism Conference, Community: Stronger Together. Licensed Behavior Analysts, Social Workers and Self-Advocates are leaders of change who are making a difference. CA welcomes compelling proposals that address a wide range of topics related, but not limited to, collaborating to make a difference and to help shape the future of services for Autism and other developmental disabilities.
