Pinecrest Golf Course is a public 9 hole course, just inside the beltway, and part of Fairfax County Park Authority. Â Our Golf Academy offers a range of golf and fitness classes from ages 5 & up, from private to group lessons. Â We are now offering two new classes aimed for kids and adults with special needs and disabilities.
Adapted Beginning Golf Ready (13-Adult): Â This program covers grip, posture, ball position, alignment, chipping, putting and full swing fundamentals. Â It also covers course orientation, etiquette, rules and basic understanding of equipment. Â One-to-one leaders are not included in this course but families may provide their own assistants.
Adapted Starting New at Golf (7-12 yrs): Â Course covers basic golf elements using a multi-sensory teaching approach. Â SNAG falls between miniature golf and regulation golf and is intended to introduce game elements in a fun progressive manner. Â Classes are held indoors and targeted to participants with disabilities. Â One-to-one leaders are not included in this course but families may provide their own assistants. Â
