Jessica Brickey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker endorsed in Infant Mental Health, which focuses on families and caregivers of infants and toddlers. She incorporates expressive arts and play in her clinical work to help build the caregiver-child bond and to assist the child develop self-regulation skills. Jessica is skilled at providing consultation to preschools and child care centers for staff development and for families of children in services. She is trained to administer the ADOS-2 for autism diagnostic purposes, specializing in the early childhood population. In addition to families of infants and toddlers, she is interested in working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder and their families. Prior to becoming a clinician, Jessica was a special education teacher for 6 years, working with children with a variety of disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. For many years, she volunteered with Special Olympics, coaching soccer and basketball with children through adults.
