The Rivermont Autism Program provides academic and behavioral services for students ages 5-22 (2-22 at the Roanoke location) focusing on family-centered, evidence-based treatments with a foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior.
Our licensed and board-certified behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts are trained in Virginia Autism Competencies, Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and specific ABA techniques. Our dedicated team ensures that ABA methodologies are incorporated throughout the student’s individualized programs with an emphasis on:
Academics, Communication, Behavior management, Social skills, Preparation for adult transition including activities of daily living (ADLs) and pre-vocational skills, Generalization of acquired skills, Preparation for return to least restrictive environment
