Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

We are certified as a Type 2 Continuing Education provider by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. If you participate in BACB sessions and meet all BACB standards, you can earn up to 8.5 credits at this conference. When you register for the conference, you’ll be asked whether you want to earn CEUs. If you choose that option, you will need to attend each session in its entirety. At the end of the conference, you’ll be contacted to pay $6/per credit hour. (We accept cash, check and credit cards.)

We are certified as a continuing education provider by the National Association of Social Workers, Virginia Chapter for 1.25 Category I contact hours. When you register for the conference you will need to choose the mental health track. If you choose that option, you will receive a certificate of attendance. It will be your responsibility to reach out to NASW for the CEs. The cost is $7 for NASW members and $12 non-NASW members.

For  more information on either track, please contact Leaora Wagner – [email protected].

Call for Papers

The call for papers for our 2021 annual conference is closed. Be one of the first to hear when we open the call for papers for next year’s conference.

ADOS-2 Training Program

You can use Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) to evaluate almost anyone suspected of having ASD, from non-verbal toddlers to verbally fluent adults. ADOS-2, the second edition, is the latest version of what was already considered the gold standard for observational assessment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Noha Minshawi-Patterson, Ph.D., HSPP will lead this new, progressive approach to teaching clinical professionals to diagnose autism using ADOS-2 during a virtual training session. We recognize that confidence and expertise come from practice and experience, so in addition to a three-day workshop, this program includes a follow-up booster session. Because of the hands-on, interactive nature of these workshops, participation is limited.
