Briefing on New Supports for Families: Child Care Subsidy Expansion & Child Tax Credit
July 7 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PMFree
During the 2021 Virginia General Assembly session, legislation was passed that temporarily expands Virginia’s child care subsidy program to families earning up to 85% of the state median income and to those parents who are in the job search process.
And new federal resources are available to families starting this month through the Child Tax Credit/Allowance, triggering monthly payments for eligible families with children.
But these resources are effective only if families take steps to access them. Please join a virtual briefing to learn more about these resources and how you can help connect families to them!
Join us on Wednesday, July 7 at 12:00 pm to hear from families, front-line representatives, and state leaders about these important new resources and learn how you can help more families access child care subsidies (before these critical expansions end – currently 7/31/21) and the child tax credit.
Please click here to register for the webinar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. Note, capacity is limited and only the first 500 attendees to join the session will be able to participate. The session will be recorded, and we’ll make the recording available widely.
Please note that no CEUs or attendance certificates will be awarded to participants. We hope you find the information valuable.
