Rebecca Johnson is our Training and Events Coordinator. In her role, Rebecca develops and manages standardized training content for our programs to strengthen services and systems that help improve the lives of Virginians with autism and developmental disabilities. Rebecca oversees and manages our CA Human Services Annual Autism Conference as well as many other yearly events as a strategic partner in our community.
She has over fifteen years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities, strengthening community partnerships, and event planning. She has a passion for helping others and being an advocate for change.
Rebecca says, “When I found CA, I was immediately drawn to the mission of an inclusive Virginia where individuals with autism and developmental disabilities can thrive amongst our community. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to be a part of that mission and to be a liaison that creates a much-needed change in this world. I know I am right where I need to be.”
In her spare time Rebecca enjoys spending time with her three children, cooking, live music, backyard fire pits, being amongst nature in any kind of water setting, and weekend adventures with her friends and family.
